Operating Partner

Bob is an operations and retail system design specialist with Porchlight Equity Partners who applies his knowledge of information systems in the retail and consumer products industries to conduct to both assess and consult with the firm’s portfolio companies. Bob’s hands-on experience encompasses strategic planning, operational reviews, and implementation. He specializes in needs assessments, software evaluation, selection and implementation, operational procedures and systems integration.


Since joining Porchlight and, before that, Highland Consumer Partners, Bob has also co-founded his own boutique consulting firm where he has provided IT expertise to companies ranging from discount and mass merchandising to luxury specialty stores. Prior to that he was a Senior Manager at Ernst and Young where he served medium and large size companies such a Staples and Madison Square Garden. Before joining Ernst and Young Bob worked in systems management for retailers like Waldenbooks and Caldor. He began his career at the apparel division of Kmart.

Bob is an avid skier. He is a United States Soccer Federation certified referee and officiates at the adult amateur level, and has officiated at the professional level. Bob is involved in his local community as a member and follower of the Kiwanis Club of Stamford. Bob enjoys foreign travel and speaks Spanish, Italian and French.
