PetIQ, formally True Science, is a veterinarian-grade animal health and wellness company, servicing both over-the-counter and pharmaceutical products. Founded in Boise, Idaho, the company is a first mover in bringing veterinarian-grade pet health and wellness into traditional retailers (grocery, drug, mass and club). PetIQ has two business units: (i) a third party distribution business, providing branded products and merchandising solutions to retail customers; and (ii) a generic drug and over the counter licensing/marketing business, which partners with established animal health and pharmaceutical animal health companies to market both “branded generic” drugs and “vet grade” OTC products under the VetIQ brand umbrella.
